DAY 1-   Departure from Paris to Colombo. Registration and formalities at the airport before boarding the flight. Night on board the flight.
COLOMBO/SIGIRIYA.
     
DAY 2-   Arrival and welcome with garlands at the airport by our company representative and the local French speaking guide.
Proceed direct from the airport towards the north of Sri Lanka to Giritale. Stop on the way for tea and snack. Arrival and check at the hotel. Lunch at the hotel. After lunch visit of the famous Sigiriya Rock, an amazing feat with the earliest surviving specimen of paintings in SriLanka that can be specifically dated. After the climb, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
     
DAY 3-   SIGIRIYA/POLONNARUWA/MINNERIYA/SIGIRIYA.
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Polonnaruwa for sightseeing tour. This ancient city was also named as the capital during the eleventh and twelfth century A.D, the sites in this ancient city are well preserved. Most of the monuments are found in different sections. Lunch in a restaurant at Polonnaruwa. Visit to a wood-carving factory, proceed to Minneriya to the national park for a safari by jeep. Return to the hotel in Polonnaruwa for dinner and overnight.
     
DAY 4-   SIGIRIYA/DAMBULLA/MATALE/KANDY.
After breakfast departure to Kandy passing through Matale, well known for its spice gardens. Visit to a spice garden where lunch will be taken in the garden itself. Proceed to Kandy Visit to a spice garden where lunch will be taken in the garden itself. Proceed to Kandy while visiting the famous rock temples of Dambulla.The temples in the caves date back as far as the first century B.C with beautiful carvings of a number of statues of Buddha. Visit to a batik factory on the way. After arriving in Kandy, visit the temple of the tooth relic of Buddha named " The Dalada Maligawa". Dinner and overnight in Kandy.
     
DAY 5-   KANDY/PINNAWELA/PERADENIYA/KANDY.
Breakfast in the hotel. Proceed to the elephant orphanage at Pinnawela, a huge area where the abandoned elephants old and young are looked after
in this reserve. It is also used as a research centre for study for these animals. Lunch in a restaurant close by. After lunch proceed to the Botanical Gardens situated at about 6 km from Kandy, established in
1821 with an unbelievable choice of trees. A drive in Kandy town by auto rickshaw with a visit of the market. In the evening witness a performance of Kandy dancing. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
     
DAY 6-   KANDY/GAMPOLA ( by train ) /NUWARA ELIYA.
After breakfast transfer to railway station in Kandy to proceed to Gampola by train which will take about an hours journey. Continuation to Nuwara Eliya through tea plantations, stopover for lunch on the way. Visit of a tea factory en route. Arrival in Nuwara Eliya for dinner and overnight.
     
DAY 7-   NUWARA ELIYA/KATARAGAMA/YALA/DICKWELLA.
Departure after breakfast towards Yala, the biggest national wildlife park in SriLanka. Visit of the Kataragama temple en route, one of the most important places of pilgrimage in SriLanka, sacred to the Hindus as well as to the Buddhists.Arrive at Dickwella for dinner and night at hotel.
     
DAY 8-   Day at leisure at the hotel in Dickwelle on all inclusive bases.
     
DAY 9-   Day at leisure.
     
DAY 10-   Departure after lunch to Colombo for city tour. Dinner In Colombo, and transfer to the airport for departure.
