Polonnaruwa holds some of Sri Lanka’s splendid vicinities , along with the ruins of ancient city stands on the east shore of a large artificial lake. The Parakrama Samudra, Statue of King Parakramabahu, Potgul Vehera, Siva Devale & the Gal Vihare  are some of the most wonderful sites it possesses.
